We spread it over 5 days to visit friends and take in the sites (i.e. Veryinspiringblogaward I'm not sure what kind of things I'm inspiring, hopefully it's something like 'blogging in the vernacular' or 'fewest unintentional typos', but thank you dramafreemama, for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award! My fiance and I lived together for about 2 years. (We live in Texas) We filed our taxes together once or twice and someone told me that made us Common. The World We Live In is a beautiful series by Vienna-based photographer Daniel Gebhart de Koekkoek. The city of Las Vegas is a glitzy, glamorous, exciting and decadent metropolis today, but its humble beginnings were similar to many other Old West towns. The work seems to be after the small moments. The woman I am seeing (she is 66 and I am 70) can't help but wonder what has gone wrong with the world we live in. Gebhart shows us nature, friendship, adventure and solitude. The news today is so depressing and inescapable. We kept saying to each other when we thought about it.
